About the role
- The Lead Secondary Engineer is the technical guarantor of the proper performance of design works conducted in his/her field of activity, in matter of committed design budget (man days), deadline and Quality, in line with Customer expectation
- Manage design packages integrated in “Full set” projects according to PMH
- Design, be part of the design of a high voltage & HVDC substations, ensuring their reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards, protection standard, and regulations
- Collaboration with other engineers and support for project documentation and continuous improvement initiatives are also key aspects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college from Electrical or related backgrounds or relevant experience
- Min 10 years of engineering experience in the related activity/discipline in project & EPC type environment in T&D, STATCOM, Power Gen or Oil &Gas industry
- 5 - 8 years of experience working with TAQA and/or DEWA
- This role requires up to 20% travel within MEA & Europe along with other country/regions for short or medium period based on requirement
