About the role
- Ensure timely communication with our internal customers to resolve requests and issues in a professional and courteous manner, that aligns with the operational and strategic aims of the Company
- Develop a strong working relationship with the wider GE Vernova Fleet stakeholder teams and our Fleet vendors through timely and accurate administration of Fleet processes, ensuring effective communication and early identification of requirements & any service issues
- Drive Fleet expertise for assigned process within existing team of administrators (both local and offshore) through knowledge sharing and training
- Provide and maintain accurate documentation and reports related to Fleet
- Proactively seek customer feedback to identify areas for process improvement, standardization and efficiency within assigned process
- Advise on complex questions/requests from the HR and Total Rewards community concerning the area of expertise in professional, courteous & timely manner
- Continuously support GE Vernova with the development and implementation of the strategic goals – Driving safety, improving quality, reducing cost and reducing CO2 emission of the fleet
- Build and share expertise by continuously keeping up to date with internal and external updates and changes
- Ensure that high standards of accuracy and quality are maintained with appropriate controls in place, taking accountability for compliance with relevant legal and GE Vernova policy requirements
- Consistently follow defined processes, challenging steps that may not make sense / add value to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintaining Workday and Fleet inventory, ensuring highest standards of completeness, accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation and policies
Requirements
- Prior experience of a similar role supporting field service engineers fleet in power generation, oil & gas, nuclear, and wind power markets
- Experience of a HR or Operations process ownership role in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
- Plan, organize, and direct fleet management operations including vehicle procurement, maintenance, repair, and disposal
- Prepare reports on fleet vehicles such as fuel and maintenance expenses and vehicle inventories for other departments and insurance brokers
- Reconcile fleet records against fleet vendor and insurance company to ensure accurate billing
- Ability to work in a global team, comfortable working in an office or remote setting
- Experience of customer service desk case management (ServiceCloud or similar)
- Process mind-set, understanding of core Fleet operational processes
- Decisiveness, self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Experience of driving strong performance from third-party suppliers & remote teams
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks & work to deadlines
- Comfortable delivering against quantitative and qualitative performance metrics
- Experience of analyzing and improving operational processes in a matrix organization
- Proven ability to work professionally & proactively with a remote client base
- Fluency in English with polite, professional communication skills
- Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges
- Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and Case Management Tools
