Requirements
- over 5 years of experience in the field of grid integration of FACTS systems
- Master's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Power Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- major in Power Electronics, Power System Analysis, Transmission and Distribution Systems, Power Systems and Markets, Renewable Energy, Smart Grids, or Alternative Technologies in Power & Energy
- additional studies in Automation, Signal Processing, Control Systems, or Programming
- understanding of compensation systems, power system analysis, and modeling
- experience with simulation tools such as PSCAD, Matlab/Simulink, DigSilent PowerFactory, PSS/E, ATP, or ETAP
- ability to take a leading role in engineering tasks/work packages and guide other engineers
- familiarity with international, national, and customer-specific standards for electrical systems
- fluent written and oral English skills; additional language skills are a benefit
