About the role

  • Reporting to PT S&OP (Power Transmission Sales & Operations Planning) and the Planning Leader, the Lead Industrial Planning and Scheduling Initiative Specialist is responsible for leading initiatives and projects to improve PT plant planning processes and accuracy.
  • Provide operational support to PT plants to improve their planning practices and tools.
  • Drive planning processes, on-time delivery, labor hours and output optimization to ensure customer satisfaction and optimal cost recovery.
  • Develop and standardize planning processes by creating comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and driving consistent adoption across all PT facilities.
  • Improve MPS/MRP effectiveness by partnering with plants to enhance plan adherence, forecast accuracy, and capacity optimization.
  • Optimize SAP usage by identifying gaps in current planning tool utilization and recommending enhancements or complementary digital solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SAP ERP in general, and of planning/scheduling functionality (MM, PP) in particular, is essential.
  • Project management skills.
  • Team player and change agent with strong credibility at all levels of the organization.
  • Digital/technical aptitude.
  • Lean mindset and continuous improvement orientation.
  • Strong communication and change management skills, including the ability to translate technical topics into simple operational terms and to create insightful presentations tailored to diverse audiences, including senior management; proficiency in English and the local language as required.
  • Master's degree (Bac +5) in Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Business from an accredited university or college, or alternatively, substantial relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial supply chain or procurement.
  • CPIM certification is a plus.
