About the role
- Support the Steam Power Services EMENAT West leadership team in financial planning, pacing, closing and analytics.
- Work closely with the EMENAT West operational and commercial teams to ensure appropriate cross-functional communication and processes are put in place to successfully measure combined business’s financial performance.
- Coordination with various team members in Fossil Services as well as other finance teams including Treasury, Tax, Financial Planning & Analysis and Controllership to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Be responsible for quarterly, monthly and weekly pacing of orders, revenue, CCM, structure cost (SG&A + FPC), op profit and cash together with the EMENAT Finance team.
- Identify gaps early on vs target and drive closure.
- Engage and support closing process and all the subsequent reporting related to EMENAT and to measure actual performance vs targets.
- Identify and drive significant, broad initiatives designed to improve business financial performance.
- Partner with Europe ITR and Operations Finance to be aligned on EMENAT West financials and Risk and Opportunities.
- Business partner for operational teams in North Africa, UAE and Egypt.
- Track Bonds and Guarantees.
- Drive the financial reconciliation component of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, fulfillment, services, and finance, to develop and execute a unified plan that supports business objectives.
Requirements
- Strong technical finance acumen, including in-depth knowledge of US GAAP accounting, controllership principles, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Proven ability to lead and influence dispersed teams, providing clear direction, actively communicating and ensuring consistent performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge / experience.
- Strong industry knowledge and contacts coupled with knowledge of controllership, accounting, and tax / legal Issues.
- Controllership assessment and planning experience is preferred.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans.
- Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Expert in Excel and strong SAP knowledge.
