About the role
- Responsible for the design and development of products, solutions and systems
- Facilitates the design and layout of all components and systems that are auxiliaries to the main product such as piping, valves, tubes, fluid delivery and removal (fuel, lube, hydraulics), pumps, actuators, tooling, etc.
- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- Drives quality initiatives within the team
Requirements
- Knowledge of the inlet and exhaust systems in a gas turbine
- Must be familiar with requisition processes and analysis tools like Ansys, STAAD, CATIA (additional skill)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s))
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Established project management skills
