About the role
- Lead the supply chain management team in the given project
- Ensure fulfilment of Sourcing commitments towards the project
- Act as a project manager for the Sourcing scope in the Project
- Responsible for all supply chain management activities within the project
- Preparation & application of common approach such as defining and applying contract requirements
- Ensure a smooth hand-over of supply chain management related scope between tender team and project execution team
- Review and update the purchasing strategy in cooperation with PTM
- Budget verification with Project Finance Manager
- Ensure adherence to project schedule in optimizing procurement
- Understand commercial parts of the EPC contract
- Ensure suppliers meet all contractual requirements
- Responsible for ERP rollout and vendor extensions
- Update vendor list and ensure client’s approval
- Coordinate procurement activities
- Control timely issuance of purchase orders within budget
- Support in contract claim management
- Perform meetings to review procurement progress
- Ensure compliance with quality and EHS rules
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing, operations or project management
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sourcing or project management role
- Ability and willingness to travel 15% of the time, as required
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure
- Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans
- Strong analytical project management and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
