Lead incident response activities during security events, ensuring proper escalation, communication, and resolution
Develop and maintain incident response plans, playbooks, and procedures aligned with industry best practices
Coordinate cross-functional teams during incident investigations, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration
Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes, document lessons learned, and implement process improvements
Manage incident documentation and reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on incident management best practices and security protocols
Lead tabletop exercises and simulations to test and improve incident response capabilities
Monitor and analyse security alerts and events to identify potential incidents requiring escalation
Establish metrics to measure incident response effectiveness and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience in cybersecurity, incident response or security operations
Demonstrated experience leading incident response activities and coordinating cross-functional teams
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and incident management methodologies
Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools and incident tracking systems
Strong communication skills in English
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIH, or SANS certifications (nice-to-have)
Experience in a regulated industry (finance, healthcare, etc.) (nice-to-have)
Knowledge of threat intelligence and its application to incident response (nice-to-have)
Familiarity with digital forensics tools and techniques (nice-to-have)
Experience with cloud security incident response (nice-to-have)
Project management skills and experience leading process improvement initiatives (nice-to-have)
Spanish language (nice-to-have)
