About the role
- Develop property strategies for new builds, refurbishments and maintenance
- Manage / execute approved new builds, refurbishments and maintenance projects
- Manage / conduct building analyses, feasibility strategies and study assignments as internal owner’s representative
- Manage / execute project definitions, tendering of design and construction contracts, and project administration
- Support the development and implementation of the real estate strategy
- Manage / perform budgeting, cash flow planning and accounts payable for all construction projects at the property level
- Controlling / risk management at project level and reporting to the Head of Asset Management
- Prepare proposals and presentations for the Investment Committee or Board of Trustees in connection with construction projects
- Support property management with budgeting, external valuations, land register transactions and initial leasing mandates
Requirements
- Commercial or technical qualification, ideally with further training in real estate management, civil engineering or architecture
- Extensive experience in project management and acting as an owner’s representative
- Business understanding (investment calculations, budgeting)
- Negotiation skills and assertiveness
- Analytical skills to identify potential
- Strong team skills, good interpersonal manner and a flair for numbers
- Excellent German language skills and knowledge of the local real estate market
- High willingness to perform and resilience
- Confident user of MS Office and relevant industry software
