Shape, scale, and deliver high-impact AI products across the organization
Lead and mentor a team of senior engineers, setting clear technical standards and fostering a culture of engineering excellence, learning, and ownership
Act as a hands-on technical authority for AI systems, reviewing, challenging, and contributing to architecture, code, and implementation decisions
Drive the design and implementation of scalable AI and ML platforms, including MLOps, data pipelines, and cloud-native infrastructure
Partner with AI Product Leads and business partners to ensure solutions are technically sound, deliver business value, and can be operated reliably at scale
Oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of the products, from experimentation and prototyping through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
Guide teams in applying modern AI techniques, including Generative AI, while ensuring robustness, security, explainability, and compliance

Requirements

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
Extensive experience designing, building, and operating production-grade AI or ML systems
Strong proficiency in Python (or similar languages) and a deep understanding of good software engineering principles
Solid hands-on knowledge of MLOps practices, including CI/CD for ML, model monitoring, versioning, and lifecycle management
Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing
Proven experience in technical leadership roles, including mentoring engineers and guiding complex technical decisions
Experience leading AI or data engineering teams in a large, complex organization is a strong plus
Experience with Generative AI, NLP, or other advanced AI techniques applied in real-world products is a strong plus
Experience in the Insurance or Re-insurance industry is a strong plus.
