About the role

  • Compile high-quality financial reporting on a US Statutory basis for quarterly and annual filing requirements
  • Produce forward-looking interpretations of actual performance with cross-functional inputs
  • Execute legal entity performance analysis , while identifying process enhancements through automation and collaboration with global teams
  • Ensure strong execution and adherence to the financial reporting control environment
  • Serve as a business partner for transaction onboarding, modeling and reporting
  • Actively engage with all relevant partners, internally and externally

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the life insurance industry or audit experience
  • CPA certification or equivalent preferred
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Statutory accounting and reporting standards for life insurance companies
  • Ability to lead effectively across reporting lines to ensure deliverables are successfully executed
  • Skill in balancing competing priorities while anticipating and preempting operational challenges
  • Experience with financial systems and reporting tools (nice to have)
  • Project management experience (nice to have)
  • Advanced Excel skills (nice to have)
  • Experience with process automation and improvement initiatives (nice to have)
