About the role
- Assist with valuation model investigations and enhancements, gaining expertise in AXIS modelling tools
- Contribute to experience studies and annual updates of assumptions by analyzing relevant data and identifying key trends
- Support IFRS 17 and Swiss Statutory reserving and financial reporting, gaining valuable exposure to industry standards
- Contribute to automation initiatives and process improvements, using technology to increase the team's operational efficiency
- Work on other diverse projects and provide support to team members as needed
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Demonstrated progress in actuarial exams
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Experience with database applications and SQL, programming languages such as R and Python, Power BI, or AXIS modeling would be an asset
- Previous internship experience in insurance, finance, or related fields
