About the role
- Develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and cases based on business requirements
- Execute manual testing across functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing cycles
- Identify, document, and track defects through closure, ensuring thorough validation and complete test coverage
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress; optimize frameworks and integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct comprehensive API testing using industry-standard tools; perform performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling
- Recommend enhancements to QA processes, tools, and methodologies to improve productivity and quality
- Provide guidance and support to junior QA team members when required
- Work closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment to support high-quality releases
Requirements
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in software testing with strong proficiency in manual testing across various application types
- Practical experience in automation testing using Cypress and solid understanding of API testing principles and tooling
- Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies
- Strong knowledge of software development and QA methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
