About the role
- Develop and design practical security requirements, architecture blueprints, and processes for applications and solutions in our public cloud environment
- Review and approve security concepts for diverse digital solutions across Swiss Re's IT landscape
- Build strategic relationships with key decision makers in architecture teams, driving long-term cloud adoption within core and functional IT departments
- Ensure alignment between business domain architecture and group security requirements, while providing domain-specific input to the Security Team
- Oversee implementation of security requirements during application development and throughout the application lifecycle
- Advance technical competencies and adapt to emerging security trends through initiatives like proof of concepts
- Drive innovation by continuously seeking better approaches and solutions to security challenges
Requirements
- Significant knowledge of major cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and standard methods with willingness to explore new areas
- Deep expertise in cloud security architecture and patterns, cloud-native development, and security controls
- Strong understanding of automated security processes on cloud platforms and cyber threats/mitigations in cloud environments
- Familiarity with security frameworks like CIS Benchmark and Mitre ATT&CK
- Experience with Microsoft Workplace and Office products in enterprise-grade configurations
- Understanding of security standards in regulated environments
- Solid grasp of application and service development principles
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, both spoken and written
