About the role
- Oversee and lead small-sized projects with an average team size of 10-15 resources.
- Oversee and lead project planning efforts to determine requirements and specifications, project scope, staffing needs, scheduling, risks and issues, and contingency plans.
- Manage day-to-day details of the project, including project tasks, daily stand-ups, daily communications with the project team, task tracking, scope and schedule mitigation, risk management, roadblocks, etc.
- Create and regularly monitor project schedule, scope, budget, risks/issues and action items, implementing corrective action to stay on schedule and within budget.
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, documenting team updates, blockers, and action items, and send out a post-meeting.
- Create and facilitate other project meetings focused on status reporting, problem resolution, feedback, fostering open communication within the team on project planning and execution.
- Lead the issue resolution process and help drive issues to completion.
- Create and report schedule, budget, and delivery details to project stakeholders.
- Maintain and distribute project management deliverables including status reports, meeting minutes, issue logs and any other documentation as directly related to the management and administration of the project.
- Facilitate weekly project status meetings with project leads and stakeholders, creating weekly PPT status report, documenting meeting notes and action items and sending notes to participants post meeting.
- Prepare and help facilitate regular stakeholder meetings with Leadership and customer stakeholders.
- Participate and prepare for regular meetings communicating project status, risks and reference status.
- Proactively drive creative approaches to problem solving and timely delivery supporting business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Project Management or a related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in Managing Technical Projects
- Able to manage small projects
- Experience in managing budgets and schedules
- Experience in tracking, managing and reporting budgets & project schedules
- Experience in managing and controlling project scope
- Ability to lead meetings independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
