About the role

  • Take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle for Operations roles mainly (KYC, Transaction Monitoring, Support, Fincrime)
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates with FinTech and compliance backgrounds
  • Conduct thorough screening interviews and present shortlisted candidates to hiring managers
  • Manage the recruitment process through to offer acceptance
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate journey at every touchpoint
  • Coordinate interviews efficiently and maintain timely communication
  • Effectively convey Swan's story, vision, and culture to candidates
  • Maintain post-interview engagement and provide clear, transparent feedback
  • Design creative sourcing strategies across multiple channels (LinkedIn, job boards, FinTech networks, employee referrals)
  • Leverage FinTech network to identify passive candidates with relevant regulatory and compliance experience
  • Build talent pipelines for specialized Operations roles requiring financial services expertise
  • Partner with recruitment agencies specializing in FinTech and compliance when needed
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team dynamics
  • Work with HRBPs and department leads to align on recruitment priorities
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and market insights specific to FinTech talent landscape
  • Track and monitor key recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, time-to-fill, acceptance rates)
  • Use data to optimize the recruitment process and improve efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records in ATS

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of recruitment experience specifically in FinTech, Banking, or Financial Services
  • Understanding of the FinTech ecosystem and regulatory landscape (KYC, AML, Transaction Monitoring, Compliance)
  • Established network of candidates in Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Fincrime roles
  • Autonomous & hands-on: able to get up to speed quickly and take ownership of workload independently
  • Adaptable: thrive in dynamic environments and can quickly adjust priorities
  • Detail-oriented: organized, process-driven, and track metrics
  • Strong communicator: build rapport easily with candidates and stakeholders alike
  • Results-focused: driven by tangible outcomes and take ownership of results
  • Market knowledge: stay informed about FinTech talent trends and compensation benchmarks
  • Fluent in English and French
