About the role
- Help shape the new iOS app and its extensions, including the Apple Watch app
- Define architecture, platform, and best practices for iOS and watchOS development
- Write, review, and test code in a collaborative environment with other software engineers
- Work closely with engineers, designers, and product owners to explore new solutions
- Contribute to the development roadmap to optimize customer energy use
- Report to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with the iOS Staff Engineer and Product Manager
- Follow and contribute to coding guidelines, workflows, and platform decisions
- Work three days a week from the Alvik office (hybrid)
Requirements
- Values team success over personal success
- Fluent in English (organizational language)
- Extensive experience in Swift
- Solid knowledge of Swift concurrency and SwiftUI
- Writes readable, idiomatic, and maintainable Swift
- Willingness to follow established coding guidelines and workflows
- Released at least one app on the App Store or has a project to show
- Bonus: stays up to date with advancements in Swift 6
- Ability to work on-site three days a week from Alvik office (hybrid)
