About the role

  • Own the entire 0→1 lifecycle for Air’s first mobile application: architecture, implementation, testing, release, and iteration.
  • Design, build, and maintain Air’s iOS application with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and seamless asset uploads.
  • Partner with product and design from early ideation through release; take full product ownership including testing, CI/CD, and publishing to the App Store.
  • Establish best practices and coding standards to ensure the app is scalable, well-documented, and developer-friendly.
  • Collaborate with web engineers to ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience across all platforms and share cross-platform learnings.
  • Develop reusable UI components and developer-facing tools; create sample apps, demos, and internal tools to accelerate adoption and integration of Air’s SDK.
  • Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and publishing to npm and the App Store; ensure a smooth, reliable release process.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of iOS app development experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (ideally in SaaS or technology-driven industries).
  • Proven track record of taking an iOS app from concept to App Store launch.
  • Highly proficient in React Native, modern react and iOS Swift.
  • Strong knowledge of the mobile tooling ecosystem - testing, CI/CD, and publishing workflows.
  • Entrepreneurial drive: work in public, own problems end-to-end, and move with intentional speed.
