About the role

  • Build the Next-Generation Creator App in React Native + TypeScript; design and ship fast, intuitive cross-platform experiences
  • Own responsiveness, gesture fidelity, and startup time; eliminate jank and measure p95/p99 UI latency
  • Implement micro-interactions, tasteful animations, haptics, and motion primitives
  • Partner with design to codify tokens and build a reusable component library across mobile and web; maintain accessibility and internationalization
  • Integrate social workflows and build creators’ daily flows with thoughtful UX
  • Prototype quickly in Figma and code, run tests with creators, and refine based on analytics, crash-free rate, and task success
  • Set up feature flags, OTA updates, and observability; scale and ship reliably
  • Contribute to roadmap, establish frontend standards and testing, mentor teammates, and hire as the company scales
  • Work directly with CTO and collaborate across product, design, and backend; own features end-to-end from prototype to App Store release

Requirements

  • 5+ Years Building Production Apps (3+ in React Native)
  • Expertise in React Native and TypeScript
  • Deep knowledge of state management, navigation patterns, RN Web, async/await, performance tuning, and build/release pipelines
  • Experience shipping and maintaining real React Native apps at meaningful scale; owned features end-to-end across iOS/Android (and ideally web)
  • Eye for design and attention to detail; translate Figma mocks into pixel-perfect, accessible UI; care about typography, spacing, motion, and micro-copy
  • Product and system design skills: architect scalable frontends (modularization, feature flags, dependency boundaries)
  • Experience with accessibility and internationalization
  • Strong performance focus: eliminate jank and measure p95/p99 UI latency
  • Ability to prototype quickly, run tests with creators, and iterate based on analytics and crash-free rate
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity; experience mentoring and hiring teammates
