About the role

  • Manage and organize onsite pickup and viewing days
  • Coordinate external service providers for collection, cleaning, and disposal
  • Handle and resolve onsite escalations
  • Handover auctioned lots to buyers and ensure a positive customer journey
  • Ensure onsite safety
  • Assist in creating lots directly with sellers: prioritization, compilation, and content structuring
  • Ensure relevant auction information such as appealing titles and additional descriptions (e.g., availability of a forklift)
  • Proactively estimate time requirements and contribute to marketing and sales initiatives
  • Take detailed photos and provide descriptions of lots according to the handbook, including guideline values to optimize auction dynamics
  • Support the logistical preparation of lots

Requirements

  • Completed technical or business-related education
  • Relevant professional experience as a project manager, service technician, or similar role in an industrial environment
  • Basic machine knowledge, ideally in metalworking or woodworking, construction or pharmaceutical industries, agriculture, or similar
  • Good spoken and written English, plus Italian or French
  • Strong organizational skills, self-responsibility, and a structured working style
  • Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and team spirit
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Switzerland
  • Technical affinity and confidence using IT systems and MS Office
