About the role
- Manage and organize on-site pickup and viewing days
- Coordinate external service providers for collection, cleaning and dismantling/scrapping
- Handle and resolve on-site escalations
- Handover of purchased lots to buyers and ensure a positive customer journey
- Ensure on-site safety
- Support creation of lots directly at the seller: prioritization, compilation and content structure
- Ensure relevant auction information such as compelling titles, supplemental descriptions (e.g. availability of a forklift), etc.
- Proactively assess time requirements and contribute to marketing and sales activities
- Photograph and describe lots in detail according to the manual, including providing guideline values for optimal auction dynamics
- Assist with logistical preparation of lots
Requirements
- Completed technical or business-related education
- Relevant professional experience as a project manager, service technician, or similar role in an industrial environment
- Basic knowledge of machinery, ideally in metalworking or woodworking, construction or pharmaceutical industries, agriculture, or similar
- Good spoken and written English; additional European languages (especially Italian & French) are an advantage
- Strong organizational skills, self-responsibility and a structured way of working
- Strong communication skills, customer focus and ability to work in a team
- High willingness to travel within Switzerland
- Technical affinity; confident user of IT systems and MS Office
