About the role
- Perform day-to-day activities related to SAP system administration, including system monitoring, user management, performance tuning, system upgrades, and applying patches.
- Design and maintain SAP system landscapes to ensure optimal performance, high availability, and scalability.
- Plan and execute SAP system installations and upgrades, including technical upgrades, enhancement pack installations, and support pack installations.
- Manage the SAP transport system, including the creation, import, and export of transports between different system landscapes.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance optimization measures.
- Implement and maintain security measures within SAP systems.
- Respond to and resolve SAP system-related incidents, problems, and service requests.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional consultants, and infrastructure teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration, including technical and functional areas.
- German Language is Must.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP system landscapes, system administration, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in SAP tools and technologies, including tickets, Launchpad/SAP, and other related tools.
- Strong understanding of SAP security and authorization concepts.
- Experience in SAP system installations, upgrades, and system landscape design.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP system-related issues.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- SAP certifications in relevant areas (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration).
