Lead the development and technical execution of complex ServiceNow solutions
Establish and enforce platform engineering standards, including coding best practices, peer review processes, and governance protocols
Drive platform innovation by building reusable frameworks, common components, and developer utilities
Build, customize, and maintain the platform's Change Management module
Architect integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using various integration methods
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by partnering with technical teams and business stakeholders
Protect platform health by advocating for Out-of-the-Box (OOB) functionality while engineering elegant customizations

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development
Multiple ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CAD, and CIS in modules like SAM, HRSD, or ITOM)
Certified Application Developer (CAD) is highly preferred for this role
Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, REST/SOAP integrations, ServiceNow-specific APIs, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal (AngularJS/Widget development), and the Workspace/UI Builder framework
Expertise in CMDB health, data modeling, and database optimization
Strong understanding of modern software design patterns and engineering principles, including SOLID, DRY, and asynchronous programming
Exceptional ability to communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
