Design and implement backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI or similar)
Work directly with customers to understand needs, gather feedback, and build solutions
Integrate LLMs and AI agents into operational workflows
Own system design decisions related to performance, reliability, and scale
Lead technical projects from architecture through deployment
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, AI, and Ops teams
Help shape engineering best practices, mentoring junior developers as we grow

Requirements

3+ years of backend engineering experience, with deep Python expertise
Strong background in building and scaling APIs, services, and distributed systems
Proven ability to work closely with end users and translate feedback into product improvements
Experience with modern infrastructure (Docker, cloud platforms, CI/CD)
Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and async programming
Bonus: experience in AI, LLMs, or healthcare tech (especially RCM)
Bonus: startup or 0→1 experience
