About the role
- Supporting the development of a stable and scalable Kotlin and Spring Boot back-end from the ground up
- Collaborate closely with our Customer Support (L1) and Infrastructure Support (L2) teams to manage escalations
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure reliable 24/7 client support
- Crafting code that adheres to the highest industry standards
- Collaborating effectively within a dynamic team environment
- Bringing an architectural perspective to the planning process
- Guiding and mentoring junior developers
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Java ecosystem, familiarity with Java 17, 21
- Deep understanding of Spring Boot
- Experience with an observability platform (Grafana / LGTM or ELK stack or NewRelic)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot under pressure
- Hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases (Postgres, Redis)
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with at least one public cloud provider (preferably AWS)
- Familiarity with IaC, such as Terraform, Helm is a plus
- A strong OOP mindset and a commitment to upholding SOLID principles
- A genuine interest in staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends
- Kotlin experience is a huge plus
- At least an intermediate level of English language skills
