About the role

  • Manage and grow a defined sales territory, working independently to drive new and existing business
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with customers by understanding their operations and challenges
  • Sell and support fluid power components, systems, and services, including: cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves, hydraulic repair and rebuild services, on-site repair services, and new hydraulic components, fluid conveyance, and related products
  • Partner closely with internal technicians and service teams to deliver solutions — not just products
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales goals through consultative selling
  • Represent Energy Hydraulics professionally at customer sites, in the field, and on the road
  • Full cycle outside sales activities including prospecting, cold calls, customer visits, and CRM entry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree / bachelors preferred)
  • 2+ years of progressive sales experience, including industrial sales
  • Experience selling mobile hydraulic components, service, or repair is strongly preferred
  • Background in fluid power, industrial technology, mechanical systems, or related disciplines
  • Fluid Power Certification is a plus (not required)
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
  • Solid computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel overnight as needed
  • Ability to move throughout the day, visit job sites, and lift up to 50 lbs when required
