About the role
- Manage and perform high-quality technical advisory works for pre-sale activities.
- Act as project manager and interface between engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, civil, and control schemes.
- Provide technical input from initial assessment to project feasibility and integration with other power plants.
- Review and suggest improvements for the conceptual and detailed design of ESS projects.
- Prepare and manage specifications, tendering, negotiation, and selection of battery storage system plants.
- Conduct due diligence for ESS projects and support customers and lenders through the financial close process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (electrical preferred) or equivalent.
- Experience in BESS technology and in-depth knowledge of BESS technologies, emerging trends, and the international market.
- Proven technical advisory experience with investors, project developers, and BESS plant design.
- Experience in international solar PV or hybrid projects development and delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in technical review communication with clients and other project parties (utilities, BoP, EPC, etc.).
- Language: German and English at least C1; other languages are always great to have!
