About the role
- Configure and maintain Salesforce, including Flows, Lightning Record Pages, fields, reports, and dashboards
- Manage sharing rules, role hierarchy, profiles, and permission sets to ensure appropriate data access and compliance
- Administer and troubleshoot third-party Salesforce packages (TalkDesk, SMS Magic, Conga, etc.)
- Maintain and update Conga templates for documents and communications
- Monitor data and file storage usage and implement strategies to stay within platform limits
- Provide end-user support, training, and documentation to drive adoption and efficiency
- Oversee the Salesforce side of system integrations, ensuring reliable data flow and performance
- Apply updates to Apex classes and Lightning Web Components (LWCs) as needed
- Use VS Code and modern deployment practices for configuration and development tasks
- Manage OwnBackup to ensure data integrity and recovery readiness
- Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders across Operations, Sales, and Marketing
- Translate business requirements into detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and system capabilities
- Communicate project updates, dependencies, and progress regularly to stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Administer and support integrated systems, including: TalkDesk (phone system) SMS Magic (messaging) Zapier (integrations)
- Manage vendor relationships, including contracts, license counts, and renewals
- Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and implement enhancements
- Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce and related business applications
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities, define requirements, and deliver scalable solutions
- Ensure systems follow security, compliance, and best practice standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience administering Salesforce and related business technology systems
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) – required
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification – required
- Strong expertise in sharing rules, security model, and user access management
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations and external system connections
- Proficiency with Flows, Lightning Record Pages, reports, dashboards, and user support
- Familiarity with Apex and LWCs, with ability to apply updates and troubleshoot
- Experience managing third-party Salesforce applications (TalkDesk, SMS Magic, Conga preferred)
- Skilled with VS Code and Salesforce development/deployment tools
- Proven experience with vendor management and SaaS license oversight
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and user-support abilities.
