About the role
- Lead the development of content and social media strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives
- Translate insights, trends and performance data into clear creative direction and campaign concepts
- Provide creative leadership for multiple clients, ensuring strong, platform-appropriate storytelling for each channel
- Develop content pillars, campaign ideas and tailored approaches for each client
- Lead content production, including shoot planning, creator briefs and collaboration with designers, videographers and influencers
- Oversee content calendars and execution, ensuring quality, consistency and strategic alignment
- Analyze performance and turn results into concrete optimizations and recommendations
- Present strategies, creative concepts and performance to clients, acting as a strategic advisor
- Identify opportunities for innovation, new platforms and expansion of social mandates
- Mentor and support social media coordinators while providing overall supervision of active projects
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in social media, content strategy or creative direction, ideally in an agency
- A strong, distinctive creative eye with demonstrated ability to art direct photo and video content
- Excellent command of UGC and AGC, with a clear understanding of the differences between editorial and native content
- Experience managing multiple brand mandates simultaneously, each with distinct creative identities
- Comfortable managing client relationships and presenting creative work to senior stakeholders
- Comfortable with production, including coordinating shoots, briefing photographers, and managing schedules and budgets
- A data-driven approach, with the ability to use performance to evolve creative concepts
- Deep expertise in TikTok, Meta (Instagram and Facebook), Pinterest and YouTube
- Experience or ease collaborating with paid media teams to align organic content and paid amplification
- Bilingual (French and English), a significant asset in the Montreal market
