About the role
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment problems
- Perform repair and maintenance on rental construction equipment
- Communicate equipment status to customers onsite
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and brand commitments
- Travel as required for job duties
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance tasks
Requirements
- Trade school or college degree (bachelor or associates) preferred
- Basic Diesel engine repair
- Extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of rental construction equipment
- Ability to use mechanic’s tools and equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment problems
- Able to communicate equipment status to customers onsite and determine whether equipment needs to be replaced
- Maintain all CMV requirements of position
- Must maintain brand commitments of equipment
- Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional demeanor
- May require up to 100% travel
- Available for on-call services as scheduled
