About the role
- Lead the consolidation of the DBTS financial management cycles
- Ensure the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of financial data
- Prepare expense and recovery presentations for DBTS and Finance leadership
- Lead Executive and Board Reporting, including consolidation and reporting of global technology expenses
- Facilitate the annual SR&ED tax credit filing
- Responsible for coaching and mentoring employees
- Provide thought leadership for the overall DBTS team
Requirements
- 7-10 years of progressive experience within financial management functions
- Accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent relevant business experience
- Proven experience in expense management, cost accounting, activity-based costing, and financial modeling
- Familiarity with cost recovery / chargeback models
- Experience working with SAP Financials and Hyperion Planning would be an asset
- Ability to manage multiple and often conflicting timelines
- Ability to operate in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams
- Client-focused with an attitude to deliver excellent client outcomes
- Exceptional and effective verbal & written communication skills
