About the role
- Proactively connect with employees across Sun Life globally to uncover stories that showcase our culture, Purpose, and values
- Conduct internal interviews to gather quotes, testimonials, and real employee experiences
- Create and organize a library of employee experiences, profiles, quotes, and testimonials, along with short and long versions of stories, and ready-to-use copy that can be used across social media, career pages, and other channels
- Collaborate with the Culture and Talent Brand team to align stories with priority themes and content strategy
- Research teams, roles, and initiatives across Sun Life to identify new storytelling opportunities
- Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, consistency and alignment with the Sun Life Global Brand
Requirements
- This opportunity is available to students with a August 2026 or later graduation date
- A positive, curious, and proactive approach
- Passion for research, storytelling, and uncovering meaningful insights
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Comfort connecting with new people and leading thoughtful conversations
- Experience creating engaging written content
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stories and projects at once
- Experience developing new ideas and recommending creative approaches to content
- Working towards a post-secondary education in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Business, or related field
