About the role
- Deliver new hire training and new skill training for group underwriters
- Perform training audits
- Support trainees
- Create and update training material and documentation in our Wiki
- Create e-learning modules
- Support our Quality Review program
- Support the Group Underwriting Best Practices team by participating in projects and answering inquiries
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Group Underwriting experience
- Familiar with large case underwriting and financial reports
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to train, coach and mentor others
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven analytical, problem solving and research skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office software skills
- Knowledge of other Group Benefits Departments
- Knowledge of adult education principles and practices is an asset
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Curious about technology and new innovative solutions using GenAI
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only
