About the role
- Lead the strategy and support recruitment efforts for Sun Life’s Actuarial student co-op and new grad programs
- Develop talent pipelines and engage and recruit exceptional talent in our Actuarial Campus program
- Act as a strategic advisor and program manager to the business to help define and evolve the Early Careers Actuarial strategy
- Lead the full recruitment cycle including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, conducting debriefs and extending offers
- Provides market intelligence and insights to develop sourcing and recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent
- Create, measure, and report on ROI, KPI’s, and DEI initiatives to measure success of the recruitment process and campus initiatives
- Lead a team of Early Careers Talent Acquisition Consultants, conduct regular 1:1 meetings and attend Early Careers leadership meetings
- Build and nurture relationships with our key stakeholders and help identify opportunities for the Actuarial student programs
- Develop and execute social media strategy to support early careers recruitment
- Manage onboarding experience and performance management for Actuarial student programs
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of previous Early Careers/Campus recruitment or relevant experience is required
- Highly skilled in relationship building; possesses skills to quickly establish trust, credibility and effectively manage others through influence
- Ability to lead others and keep processes and projects on track
- Flexible and resilient; able to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities and changing business conditions
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems while collaborating with business partners to achieve a common goal
- Data-driven in everything you do; you take pride in data quality and data integrity
