About the role

  • Providing remote and occasional on-site HR support, guidance, and training to employees, staff, and management teams within a specified region on range of HR issues and practices;
  • Initiating and implementing Human Resources programs to achieve business objectives and ensure HR support for internal customers;
  • Investigating and resolving various employment matters including internal employee complaints, hot-line issues, EEOC, Human Rights Commission, Wage and Hour, and other in conjunction with Labor Relations and Legal Department;
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws;
  • Supports the recruitment process for multiple locations;
  • Guiding the performance management and performance appraisal process;
  • Promoting employee engagement and a positive work environment;
  • Assisting with the development and delivery of employee or management training;
  • Building strong partnerships and working collaboratively with internal and external customers;
  • Conducting special projects as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
  • 7-10 years of professional Human Resources experience
  • Multi-site experience required; ability to provide guidance and training from a remote location
  • Experience responding to EEOC, Human Rights Commission, Wage & Hour, and other types of employee claims required
  • Strong working knowledge of Human Resources practices and principles with significant knowledge of laws and regulations affecting employment
  • Experience recruiting for high-volume positions
  • Effective presentation skills and the ability to assist in the development and delivery of employee or management training
  • Experience initiating and implementing Human Resources programs to achieve business objectives and ensure HR support for internal customers
  • Must possess leadership and collaborative skills with demonstrated ability to build partnerships with internal and external customers
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and HR systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with change management
  • Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
  • Creative, innovative, and flexible mindset
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Well-developed time management skills
  • Utmost professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Must have the ability to travel up to 40%, at times with little to no notice
