About the role
- Oversee daily container inventory variation
- Plan for empty reposition and maintain inventory level
- Update daily container movements in the local system
- Track loading and discharge movements per vessel
- Attend joint surveys with clients on damaged containers
- Generate accurate and timely invoices
- Correspond with customers regarding detention and billing questions
- Maintain up to date records related to customer notifications
- Communicate with customers regarding invoice discrepancies
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- 1-3 years’ experience in a similar position/industry
- Foundational knowledge of Port Operations and Port Agency services
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Bilingual, fluent in English & Spanish preferred
