About the role

  • Oversees the entire software quality lifecycle, managing the QA team to develop and execute test strategies.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of test strategies for functional, integration, system and end to end testing across various platforms.
  • Define, Implement and enforce quality standards, policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with development, product and other stakeholders to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Help identify and mitigate quality related risks and ensure products comply with relevant laws, regulations and company standards.
  • Define, track and report on key quality metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Enforce defect management procedures and oversee the root cause analysis and resolution of identified issues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing the end-to-end testing life cycles.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) , software testing methodologies and test automation frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is often required
  • Familiarity with quality metrics, reporting and a data driven approach to quality assurance.
  • Any Professional degree in computer science
  • Ability to quickly understand the business processes.
  • Testing tools: Zephyr, XUnit, Selenium, Sonar Cloud, Appium, Postman/SoapUI/ Rest-assured
  • Test Driven Development methodology
  • Agile product management tools: Jira, Confluence
  • DevOps tools (desirable): Bitbucket/GitHub, Sonar Cube, Team City, Selenium
  • Knowledge of maritime, Finance, Supply chain and logistics (desirable)
