About the role

  • - Managing a portfolio of growing businesses, involving reviewing various assignments and giving advice to clients where required.
  • - Management of individual clients to ensure the various deadlines are achieved in a timely manner
  • - Attending client meetings when required in person and via video link
  • - Assisting the Client Service Director with raising fee notes and management of work-in-progress
  • - Support Client Service Director and Partner in one-off project-based assignments
  • - Motivate, train, and develop Trainees, Seniors and other colleagues as appropriate including some line management responsibilities
  • - Potential to attend networking events and new client meetings with one of our Fee Earners.

Requirements

  • - ACCA or ACA qualified with at least 2 years post qualification experience gained in an accountancy practice
  • - A knowledge of various software packages including cloud-based packages
  • - Ambitious and passionate about what you do, with strong communication and team working skills
  • - Experience in developing other members of your team
  • - Organised, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
  • - Line management experience would be desirable
