About the role

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify staffing needs, business and sourcing strategies, and determine candidate selection criteria.
  • Proactively source top talent using various traditional and innovative sourcing channels such as job boards, recruiting partners/agencies, social media platforms, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Develop and execute effective recruiting plans for each assigned requisition, including writing job adverts and interview questions, designing practical assessments, and organizing behavioral profiling, if appropriate.
  • Screen applicants against the selection criteria and conduct thorough phone screens and interviews to assess the level of interest, suitability against selection criteria, compensation requirements, and cultural fit.
  • Coach hiring managers in the recruitment and selection processes, ensuring compliance with employment laws and equality of opportunity for all candidates.
  • Foster a positive candidate experience by providing regular and timely updates, and communicating S&C's brand proposition, company benefits, and other employment information.
  • Conduct reference checks and verify credentials and work history.
  • Partner with compensation and hiring managers to define attractive and competitive job offers, and prepare and negotiate offer packages.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and candidate records in the applicant tracking system in support of tracking talent acquisition metrics and compliance with government compliance requirements.
  • Develop company and departmental knowledge, and research and share talent acquisition trends, market dynamics, and hiring data to execute best practices enterprise-wide.
  • Represent S&C at virtual and in-person career fairs, industry events, and other networking opportunities to promote the S&C employer brand, attract top talent and build talent pipelines.
  • Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline.
  • Proven track record in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven sourcing and recruitment environment, showcasing the ability to handle multiple roles simultaneously without compromising on quality.
  • Demonstrated experience using ATS for end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, tracking, and managing candidate pipelines efficiently.
  • Ability to identify, engage, and qualify potential candidates swiftly using various sourcing methodologies and platforms.
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws, ensuring all recruitment activities are compliant and minimize legal risks.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and networking skills with the ability to develop rapport with candidates and strong relationships with hiring managers, and other cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization (technical and non-technical) and with candidates to interview and present the role and benefits of working at S&C.
  • Ability to leverage social media tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Twitter, Facebook, and professional blogs, for targeted and strategic sourcing efforts.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple recruitment assignments concurrently, and consistently meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify recruitment challenges, devise innovative solutions, and adapt strategies to changing recruitment landscapes.
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail. Proficient in analyzing selection criteria to derive insights, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Good negotiation skills with the ability to offer competitive salary packages, benefits, and contractual terms to secure top talent while aligning with organizational budgetary constraints.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
