About the role

  • Work closely with services to support day to day budgeting and accounting requirements
  • Work on a range of transformational change projects
  • Maintain a high standard of professional accounting, ensuring finances and budgets are transparent and accurate
  • Support Adult Social Care initially

Requirements

  • AAT qualified or part-qualified at CCAB level
  • Proven background as a Finance Officer or similar, working as part of a finance team
  • Competent providing both management and financial accounting functions
  • Comfortable analysing financial and non-financial data
  • Experience supporting budget holders and their decision making
  • Keen to contribute towards the continual improvement and evolution of the finance function.
