About the role

  • Convert product vision and strategy into clear system, functional, and technical requirements
  • Uphold Agile and Scrum principles, owning and prioritizing the product backlog to maximize customer and business value
  • Develop and refine user stories, workflows, logic diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes in collaboration with UX and engineering
  • Write crisp, unambiguous user stories, technical tasks, and clear acceptance criteria
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and feature complete review sessions
  • Identify dependencies, risks, and constraints; proactively remove impediments to support sprint and release goals
  • Act as a liaison between marketing, customers/end‑users, systems engineering, software, hardware, and quality teams
  • Produce product and system‑level documentation to support releases, training, and internal alignment as required
  • Serve as a senior product owner, guiding and mentoring junior product owners where required
  • Own the prioritization framework and make high-stakes trade-offs across scope, schedule, and resources to maximize Return on Investment (ROI) and customer value

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Product Owner
  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, and release planning
  • Proficiency in defining system‑level requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria
  • Familiarity with SAFe, SDLC, and product lifecycle management processes
  • Preferred: Experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, or other regulated industries
  • Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and/or Scrum Master (CSM) certification
  • Experience supporting change management across complex organizations
