About the role
- Lead upstream product strategy from concept development through handoff, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and portfolio priorities.
- Identify unmet clinical needs through structured voice-of-customer activities, including interviews, field observations, and advisory engagements.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive assessments to inform product positioning, differentiation, and long-term roadmap decisions.
- Develop product requirements by defining user needs, value propositions, and target product profiles that guide design and development.
- Build business cases, including market sizing, pricing strategy, revenue forecasts, and investment justification to support pipeline decisions.
- Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations to translate customer insights into feasible product concepts.
- Support clinical strategy by defining claims, endpoints, and evidence requirements in collaboration with Clinical Affairs and Regulatory.
- Define launch readiness inputs for downstream marketing, including segmentation, targeting, positioning, and value messaging.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience
- Experience in product marketing
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple cross-functional stakeholders to deliver projects or business outcomes
- Master’s Degree (MBA) preferred
- Experience in upstream product marketing
- Experience managing product roadmaps for capital (hardware-enabled) and/or software-driven solutions in an enterprise or regulated environment
- Experience supporting or participating in new product development processes
- Experience working within complex, multistep business processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
