About the role

  • Review complex commercial contracts and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
  • Lead and develop a global technical accounting team.
  • Build and maintain global revenue recognition policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate new accounting pronouncements and determine their impact on revenue policies.
  • Advise on revenue considerations for strategic initiatives.
  • Research and document technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP.
  • Partner with internal controls teams to optimize revenue-related controls.
  • Deliver global revenue training and educational materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience performing complex revenue recognition analysis.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP revenue recognition rules, including ASC 606.
  • CPA certification or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience with revenue accounting across software, hardware, and multiple-element arrangements (preferred).
  • Experience with SAP (preferred).
  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (preferred).
