About the role

  • Manage sales and growth for Stryker’s Foot & Ankle portfolio across the Netherlands (ideally central based in Netherlands).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with nurses, surgeons, hospital administrations, procurement, and key decision-makers.
  • Acquire new customers and manage existing accounts to ensure loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Provide product training and in-theatre support, including demonstrations and evaluations.
  • Develop, execute and follow up business plans aligned with sales and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Monitor tenders, prepare quotes, and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Represent Stryker at trade fairs, congresses, and business meetings to strengthen market presence and to expand your network.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in healthcare, business or in any other relevant areas.
  • 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in medical devices, with direct selling experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal communications and persuasion skills – with proficiency in Dutch & English.
  • Strong relationship-builder with strategic and entrepreneurial mindset; strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Passionate about medical technology, driven to achieve goals and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • Empathy and commitment to understanding customer needs and contributing to better healthcare.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory (across the Netherlands) as required.
  • Anatomical knowledge, ideally in orthopedics with a focus on Foot & Ankle (preferred).
  • Experience in surgical/hospital environments, medical technology, capital equipment, or healthcare (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a multinational organization (preferred).
