About the role

  • Take over sales activities for the capital equipment within our Orthopaedic Instruments product portfolio.
  • Operational and strategic management responsibility for your sales territory in the Central-East region (greater Leipzig, Halle, Magdeburg, Erfurt, Cottbus, Göttingen).
  • Conduct targeted new customer acquisition and provide ongoing customer support for hospital surgical departments regarding the use of our innovative machine systems.
  • Apply targeted sales and marketing strategies and negotiate with chief physicians, hospital administrations, biomedical technicians and procurement departments.
  • Advise and train medical and nursing staff on product use in the operating room (OR) as well as during workshops and product trials.
  • Prepare customer orders tailored to needs and develop financing plans.
  • Attend trade fairs, conferences and business meetings to identify potential new customers and expand your customer contacts.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of sales experience, either in medical technology, financial services, the automotive industry or other related fields.
  • Passion for selling technically complex and demanding products and services.
  • Experience building long-term customer relationships and developing new business.
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation and an open, personable manner.
  • Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking, organizational talent and a willingness to take responsibility.
  • Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Valid driver's license (Class B).
  • Degree in biomedical engineering, civil engineering or health management (preferred).
  • Initial sales experience with capital goods and knowledge of project-based business (preferred).
  • Industry experience in medical technology, e.g., as an Operating Theatre Assistant (OTA) or comparable roles within the sector (preferred).
