About the role

  • Serving existing and new customers in the theatre and clinical environments.
  • Providing support for MAKO robotic procedures and manual joint replacement surgeries.
  • Training theatre and wider HCP staff on Stryker products.
  • Working closely with team members within the defined region and the Regional Sales Manager to ensure best-in-class customer service levels.
  • Auditing theatre Stryker stock (implants, disposables and instruments), managing consignment inventory, and ensuring good asset-management practices.
  • Understanding the clinical application of the broader Stryker business to consistently offer customers the best possible solution.
  • Conducting product trials and evaluations in both theatre and clinical settings as required.
  • Implementing training, providing instruments, and supporting the introduction of new Stryker products.
  • Organizing and conducting training workshops and events for a broad customer group when required.
  • Communicating key product features, benefits, and clinical applications.
  • Demonstrating exemplary ethical behavior at all times.
  • Treating customers and colleagues with respect and representing Stryker professionally.
  • Acting with integrity and delivering on commitments within agreed timescales.
  • Observing customer needs and liaising with sales colleagues to follow up on and introduce new or additional Stryker products and/or support.
  • Maintaining a basic business plan highlighting daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
  • Developing an understanding of the local healthcare environment and regional strategy.
  • Performing additional responsibilities as directed by the Regional Sales Manager (RSM).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, medical technology, health sciences or relevant medical certification (e.g., CST, PT, CPT).
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and English (C1 level) is required.
  • Operating room experience is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Product Specialist, Clinical Specialist, Nurse, or Biomedical Engineer in the healthcare industry.
  • Master’s degree in biomedical engineering, medical technology, or health sciences (desirable).
  • Experience delivering clinical training and education programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business administrative and clerical procedures and systems (e.g., word processing, file management, and record maintenance).
