About the role
- Partner with the IT leadership team and functional spend owners to deliver improved cost and service levels.
- Work on improving processes and systems to enable improved speed to execution while developing and driving enterprise-wide spend leverage strategies, including strategic supplier development in order to act as a trusted advisor.
- Lead/support supplier sourcing activities for the IT category, including: Data collection and spend analysis, market research, the RFx process, negotiations, contracting, implementation and continuous improvement.
- Deliver consistent year-over-year savings by leveraging over $600M annual global spend.
- Develop and implement supplier category strategies and best practices for the IT category team.
- Develop and advance procurement professional talent.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree - required
- 8+ years relevant working experience - required
- Experience developing, negotiating, and implementing commercial contracts, including supply and service agreements - required
- Subject matter expert level experience in IT indirect procurement categories - required
- Travel Percentage: 20%
