Stripe is growing fast and needs operations to scale; hiring an experienced Project Manager for People Operations to drive organizational change.
Lead multiple concurrent projects and initiatives of varying complexity; manage some end-to-end and represent People Ops on broader working groups.
Balance long timelines with quick turnarounds; use organization, attention to detail, relationship building, influencing, strategy and tactical execution to drive impact.
Responsibilities include tackling ambiguous questions, developing and implementing project plans, optimizing workflows, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects, programs, and process improvements; establish effective project governance and align milestones with team standards.
Prepare materials for leadership and stakeholders; foster a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement within People Ops.
Requirements
Have 7+ years of experience in project management, business operations, strategy, or consulting, with at least 2 years operating within an HR team at a large or scaling company.
A proven track record of navigating complexity and driving results with a balance of urgency and thoughtfulness.
Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities and a proven track record of building trust and driving alignment across teams, including People teams, Systems, Finance, Legal, and leadership.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset aimed at informing decision making.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders.
