About the role
- Act as a liaison between business/end users and IT systems development teams
- Identify and analyze business needs and conduct requirements gathering
- Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes
- Research business requirements and document relationships between application system components
- Translate business requirements into application requirements
- Support all enhancements as part of the production support team
- Perform testing activities to ensure development/configuration meets user requirements
- Research and resolve issues and errors related to data transfers from HRIS to other systems or vendors
- Facilitate project management of people related programs and initiatives
- Implement new systems and conduct user training in the use and features of systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-7 years of related professional experience
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Applications such as MS Project, Word, Power Point, Excel & Visio
- Strong knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, and practices
- Deep subject matter expertise of at least 1 module of Workday HCM including upgrades/new features management
- Two (2) years of Workday configuration specific experience
- Five (5) years HRIS /IT experience, HR application analysis/support experience and working with data, business process design and documentation
