About the role

  • Monitor and control accounting operations in strict compliance with commercial and tax regulations
  • Professional and disciplinary responsibility for employees within the accounting group
  • Organize the team's daily activities and actively participate in ongoing operational processes
  • Act as the central link to internal departments and serve as a competent point of contact for external partners
  • Ensure timely preparation of year-end financial statements, including the submission of electronic tax filings (E-Bilanz)
  • Prepare and perform in-depth analyses of business statistics and financial reports

Requirements

  • Successfully completed commercial training with further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) / certified balance sheet accountant, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of solid experience in accounting and the preparation of year-end financial statements in accordance with commercial and tax law
  • Confident MS Office skills (particularly Excel) and practical experience using ERP systems
  • Quick comprehension combined with strong analytical skills
  • Ideally some prior experience in functional or disciplinary leadership of employees
  • Strong empathy, teamwork skills and excellent communication abilities
  • A high level of responsibility as well as an independent, structured and precise working style
  • Very good German and English language skills
